Hello, I’m Jason.

I help businesses spend less time on admin and more on the work that moves them forward, using software and AI where they genuinely help.

I trained in computer science and in manufacturing, and I’ve been building software that organisations rely on since I was at school. Today most of that happens at Cambridge Kinetics, the company I founded in 2021.

What I work on

How I help businesses change

  1. Step one

    Start with what already works.

Spreadsheets, whiteboards and people’s experience hold years of practical knowledge. Keep what the existing system gets right, and make that information easier to share.

  2. Step two

Build it with the people doing the work.

Useful tools need reliable technology, time to learn, and the knowledge of the people who will use them. Aim for a change that makes their working day easier.

  3. Step three

Pick one useful change and test it.

Choose a manageable workflow, try an improvement with the people who use it, and measure whether it helps. Sometimes a simpler process or an existing tool is enough.

  4. Step four

Use AI where it helps people, not to replace them.

The best uses take repetitive work off people’s plates, giving them time for the things that matter, and the scope to take on more ambitious ideas than was possible before.
